1. New energy battery testing
Chuanyang battery chillers provide solutions for all the key performance attributes required to optimize battery‑pack durability, range, and efficiency. Given that battery packs are highly complex, high‑current, high‑voltage systems integrating a BMS, cooling system, and numerous electrical and mechanical components, selecting the right new‑energy battery chiller is of critical importance.
Testing of new‑energy electric‑vehicle batteries encompasses not only battery voltage, current, and temperature, but also all BMS‑related signals. The new‑energy battery coolant‑chiller pack‑testing system provides a comprehensive, real‑time solution for evaluating new‑energy battery packs. Components within the testing environment can be controlled and measured in real time, with these measurements directly serving as input variables for subsequent test procedures. Data analysis can be performed on‑line during testing, eliminating the need for complex post‑processing.
The new‑energy battery chiller provides synchronized control of all components in the test environment and records their measurement values, which are then used as variables throughout the remainder of the test sequence: regulation of the BMS, the temperature/climate chamber, and the DUT. The chiller’s measurement and control module is employed to log voltage and temperature and to handle all analog and digital inputs and outputs.
The ChuanYang new‑energy battery chiller is ideally suited for testing new‑energy batteries and electric motors. Featuring a fully sealed pipeline design and a high‑efficiency plate heat exchanger, it is used to precisely regulate temperature—both heating and cooling—and maintain stable temperatures during testing, particularly when thermal‑management processes involving heat generation or dissipation are required. In addition to temperature control, this chiller can also manage flow rate and pressure; its temperature‑control range spans from –40°C to 135°C, with antifreeze flow‑rate regulation between 2 and 20 L/min. It provides precise control of antifreeze temperature and flow, supporting high‑ and low‑temperature testing of electric‑vehicle motors, battery packs, and other components. The chiller enables battery packs and similar systems to undergo tests in extreme temperature environments while meeting demands for controlled flow and pressure under both high‑ and low‑temperature conditions.
2. Battery slurry mixing or reaction cooling
During stirring or reaction in a reactor, friction generates high temperatures. If not maintained at a constant temperature through cooling, the slurry’s temperature will continue to rise, degrading the raw materials’ properties. In such cases, chilled water must be circulated into the equipment to provide stable temperature control.
